Teresa Ross joins USBC Coaching Staff

The United States Bowling Congress has announced that Junior Team USA assistant coach Teresa Ross will join the organization’s Coaching department. Rod Ross Named Head Coach International Training Center

Rod Ross, one of the most respected and innovative coaches in the sport of bowling, has been named the first head coach of the United States Bowling Congress International Training Center that will be constructed at the national governing body’s new headquarters facility in Arlington, Texas. Slow Motion Camera Test

We currently are testing a new camera that can record 300 frames per second, in fact can go up to 1200 frames per second. Our program BowlersMAP Gold can take a normal DV video camera and create 60 frames per second for motion analysis, so having 300 frames per second for analysis has us excited. This is our first test using the camera, and we used it hand held with no additional lighting. The flicker you see with the strike ball is the florescent light pulsing.
